OmniFocus Pro 4.8.12 for Mac
OmniFocus Pro 4.8.12 for Mac
It all started with a very simple idea. You have things you need to do, and you know you’d better jot down notes somewhere to make sure you don’t miss anything, but yellow sticky notes just aren’t cutting it. You want to try a more reliable system that can capture all your plans and even make organizing them a little easier.
OmniFocus is a personal task management tool that helps you track all your goals, plans, to-dos, and intentions. OmniFocus helps you keep track of everything you need to do throughout the day. These can range from small tasks (like stopping by the bike shop after work) to more complex tasks that are part of larger goals (like planning a vacation).
OmniFocus, available on Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch, offers a variety of tools to help you prioritize complex projects or simply jot down your to-do list. OmniFocus works effectively as a standalone app or as part of any schedule and task management system that suits your needs

What’s New in 4.8.12
OmniFocus 4.8.12 is a minor update focused on bug fixes. On Mac, it restores tag drag-and-drop reordering in the Inspector, fixes outline popover completion dates being discarded, and corrects metadata display after deleting the previously selected item. Custom perspective rule edits now apply reliably on the first attempt, Forecast sort order is more stable when calendar events overlap overdue items, and cancelling a sidebar deletion no longer desynchronizes the sidebar from the outline.
Core Features
- Quickly navigate OmniFocus on any device using the Perspectives Bar, Quick Open, and Back and Forward history
- Start the day in Forecast to see due items alongside Calendar events, switch to a custom perspective for deep work on one client, and use Quick Open to jump to any project
- Custom perspectives let you filter and group projects and tags, with filtering rules that combine “all,” “any,” and “none”; you can set a custom image and tint color for each perspective’s icon
- With Pro, use Focus to direct your attention on specific projects or folders, and customize OmniFocus to display only the information most relevant to you
- On macOS Tahoe 26, OmniFocus 4.8 adds Liquid Glass styling and tighter integration with system Shortcuts and widgets
